A video of Yash Rathi‘s stand-up comedy went viral on social media in which he is seen addressing the audience and using abusive language, which made the guests, professors cover their ears with their hands to avoid embarrassment. Some even decided to leave the venue. A member of the organizing committee intervened and called Yash Rathi on the stage and asked him to stop his show.
Case against Yash Rathi
Now the controversy has increased over this. Everyone is expressing their displeasure. The matter escalated so much that it reached the police. Now a case has been registered against Yash Rathi in this matter. An official said on Tuesday that the police have registered an FIR against stand-up comedian Yash Rathi for allegedly using objectionable words during a show at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhilai in Chhattisgarh’s Durg district.
