Tripti Dimri : They said- ‘No one will marry your daughter’
Fans’ national crush Tripti Dimri has made a different place for herself in Bollywood today. Every next director wants to cast her in his film. However, the actress also has a past when she had to face a lot of taunts from relatives for coming into films. She revealed this in a recent interview.
After the release of Animal in the year 2023, Tripti Dimri suddenly became a social media sensation. After this, the actress was offered many big projects one after the other. Very soon she will be seen in Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video with Rajkummar Rao. Its trailer was released recently which created a stir. The actress currently has Dhadak 2, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and many untitled films.
On one hand, there is such a craze about Tripti in Bollywood. On the other hand, there was a time in the actress’s life when people used to tell her parents that no one would marry their daughter. In an interview to the YouTube channel of Katrina Kaif‘s beauty brand Kay Beauty, the actress said, “I am from Uttarakhand, but I was born and brought up in Delhi, so my parents and family are in Delhi.
When I came to Bombay, it was difficult for me. You know, every day I had to go out in front of more than 50-60 people in a room. There are people in society and even in my family who said nasty things to my parents.’
Tripti said, ‘People used to say why did you send your daughter into this business. She will be ruined. She will start associating with wrong people and will make wrong decisions for herself. No one will marry her.’ The actress said that there was a time when I had completely lost hope. Imagine that one day you wake up and you don’t have any work. But I was absolutely sure that I will not go back to my parents and say that nothing happened.
