TMKOC: Palak Sidhwani aka ‘Sonu’ said- ‘I was threatened’
Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is once again in the headlines. The show has been in controversy for some reasons in the past few days. Palak Sindhwani, who played the role of Sonu Bhide in the show, has decided to leave the show after 5 years. Along with this, Palak has also made some allegations against the producer and his team.
It started when it was being said that the makers are going to send her a notice because she has breached the contract. However, now a different story is coming out. In an interview given to Tele Talk, Palak has accused the makers of the Tarak Mehta show of mental harassment and threatening her several times.
Palak was threatened :
Palak said- “They have threatened me many times. They often used to say that it will not be good if I leave the show.” Palak says that I was asked for the details of the brands I endorsed and was asked how much money I earned from them.
Accused of breaking contract :
The actress further said that when she signed the show 5 years ago, the makers agreed to promote and advertise their brands. Even many of her onscreen co-stars do promotions etc. Palak said that in 5 years the makers never gave her any contract but the very next moment on 19 September, she suddenly got a copy of the contract.
Palak said that she was broken from inside and was working despite constant mental torture, which was also affecting her health. Let us tell you that there has been no response from Asit Modi on all these allegations. Many other stars have already accused him.
