A man from Croatia is said to be the luckiest man in the world. The life of this man named Franco Selak is more adventurous than the stories in movies. Frano‘s life was full of surprising events. Born in Croatia in 1929, Frank was a music teacher by profession. His life was quite simple. However, one day after a bus accident, his exciting life started.
Frano Selak lived in Croatia and finally died on 30 November 2016 at the age of 87. However, he had faced death many times before this. For the first time in 1957, during a journey, he fell from a bus into a river. He narrowly escaped this accident. After this, in an accident, the train in which he was travelling derailed and fell into the river. He survived this accident too.
Not once but twice his car exploded but nothing happened to him. All this was still not enough that one day he also survived a plane crash. He fell on a haystack. After this, in an accident, he fell down from a cliff and a tree saved his life. Later he also survived being hit by a bus.
Then, as if to prove that he is not the unluckiest man in the world but the luckiest man, Selak won almost $1 million (Rs 8,36,77,100) in the lottery. He gave most of this money to his friends and family. With this money, he bought a luxurious house but in 2010 he changed his mind and sold it. He wanted to live a simple life with his fifth wife. He also got his operation done with his winning money.
