The series follows the story of professional thief Assane Diop. He lives with his father. They are immigrants from Senegal. They have come to France in search of a better life.
Assane’s father gets framed for the theft of an expensive diamond necklace by his wealthy and powerful employer, Hubert Pellegrini. He hangs himself in his prison cell out of shame. Leaving his teenage son as an orphan
Twenty-five years later, inspired by a book about gentleman thief Arsène Lupin, whom his father had given him on his birthday, Assane sets out to get revenge on the Pellegrini family. By using his charisma and mastery of thievery, subterfuge, and disguise to expose Hubert’s crimes.
In the third season of the series, Assane will continue his schemes to do some big heists. Being the most wanted man in France, Assane and his family are at risk. He is hiding but planning to make some mind-blowing plans for the heists.
This time he is planning to get the magnificent and expensive Black Pearl. Assane has become smarter through his past experiences and is now working on the most outrageous plans for his upcoming heist.
Actors Omar Sy, Ludivine Sagnier, Clotilde Hesme, Antoine Gouy, Soufiane Guerrab, Vincent Londez, and Shirine Boutella are playing various characters in the series.
The series was created by George Kay and François Uzan. The production of the series is done by Isabelle Degeorges, Nathan Franck, and Martin Jaubert in association with Gaumont Television.
The series will be released on Netflix on October 5, 2023. The series will be available in various languages: French, English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
