Swara wrote, ‘I finally got a chance to read the Hema Committee report. First of all, I would like to thank the Women in Cinema Collective, who raise their voice against violence against women. Those women are heroes and you are trying to match the work that people in high positions have already done.
The actress further wrote, ‘I am heartbroken after reading the report of this committee. Heartbroken also because I am familiar with this situation. I have seen all this closely. It may be possible that some nuances and details may be different, but I am well aware of all these incidents.

Continuing her point, Swara wrote, ‘The glamor world has always been male centric. This is not only Patriarchal but also Orthodox Industry. Here successful actors and directors start being compared to God. Whatever wrong they do, everything is forgiven. If someone raises his voice, he is called a trouble maker and is sidelined. It becomes difficult for him to work in the film industry.
