However, Amar Kaushik has also given a message to the society through the song ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ in his film ‘Stree 2’ and has said that item numbers can not only have dirty lyrics but can also have a message for the society.
Women’s respect should not be compromised while making item numbers :
The director said that it is easy to make any film with an item number. The makers should just know what they want to say through that song. Amar Kaushik said, “It cannot be denied that people come to the theatres to watch item songs. However, I wanted it to take the story forward without compromising on the quality and respect of women.”

Regarding making an item song, the director said that you should say what you want to say and there should be style too, but when you listen to the lyrics of the song, you feel that I have said a big thing, you will understand it later. Amar Kaushik told that I have grown up with sisters and I have seen their struggle. All that is in your mind and then when you are making a film, you cannot show it in a normal way.
