Stree 2 Box Office Day 44 : Collection fell down on Friday
The horror comedy film Stree-2 has ruled the box office for a long time. This movie, directed by Amar Kaushik, left many films behind at the box office. In terms of earnings in India, this film was only behind Jawaan. However, Junior NTR’s film Devra Part 1 has spoiled the game of Stree-2 on Friday.
Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer horror comedy film ‘Stree 2’ has been running in theatres for the last 44 days. This film which started with 76 crores has left no stone unturned in spreading terror not only at the domestic box office but also across the world.
While this movie of Shraddha Kapoor surpassed movies like Animal, PK, Sultan and Gadar 2, it did not even give the movies released along with it ‘Khel-Khel Mein’ and ‘Veda’ a chance to earn.
However, now it seems that with the release of Deevra: Part 1, Stree 2 will have to leave the box office as the film’s collections have fallen badly on Friday.
Kareena Kapoor‘s film ‘The Buckingham Murders’ flopped at the box office because of Stree 2. The full-on action film ‘Yudhra’ also couldn’t earn much at the box office. However, now with the release of Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor‘s film ‘Devara Part: 1’, the box office collection of Stree 2 has started to falter.
While this movie starring Shraddha Kapoor was collecting around 1.5 to 2 crores every day, on Friday the movie was able to earn only 1.09 crores on a single day.
Stree 2 has so far earned a total of 610 crores at the domestic box office. Looking at the way this film was running at a fast pace crushing all the superstars’ films for the last few days, it seemed that this film would also leave behind the biggest blockbuster of 2023 ‘Jawaan’ in earnings. The total collection of Jawaan is around 643 crores.
