Samantha gave credit to Rajamouli
Now recently, the actress talked about the recognition South films are getting in an interview. She also thanked SS Rajamouli for getting this recognition. Samantha was asked why South films did not get the recognition they are getting now.
On this, the actress said that South Indian film makers are creative but they do not have the marketing skills to promote it on a pan India level. She gave credit to RRR director SS Rajamouli who gave a pan India vision to South Indian films.
Samantha said, “With the success of Baahubali, he was probably the first person to overcome the challenges of regional cinema. Rajamouli sir was probably the first person to think of it. I am glad that he thought of it, which has opened the doors for more people,” the actress said.
