Had interest in food processing since childhood
Viraj was very interested in food since childhood. Viraj often used to go to factory with his father. Viraj did his first job at the Fun Foods stall in the trade fair in Delhi. Despite being interested in food processing, Viraj Bahl studied marine engineering and also got a good job. But he was only interested in business.
Quit his job and joined the family business
Viraj left his good job and joined his father’s food business Fun Foods. Viraj‘s skill was discovered as soon as he joined the company and the company grew a lot and in the coming few years Fun Foods became a very big brand. And then the year 2008 came and Viraj‘s father thought of taking a big decision. In the year 2008, Viraj‘s father decided to sell the company and sold Fun Foods for Rs 110 crore. Viraj Bahl did not like his father’s decision.
Started business by selling house
In 2009, Viraj Bahl started restaurant business. He named it Pocket Full. But this business also came to a standstill by 2013. Viraj did not give up and came back to the food processing industry. He sold his house and with that money, established Veeba Foods in Rajasthan in 2013. Gradually, the business of Veeba Foods grew and soon Veeba Foods became a major sauce manufacturing company. Veeba now has food sauces in every home.
