The movie follows the story of a young muslim woman named Fathima Noorjahan. She lives in Malappuram.
Fathima is born and bought up in a conservative middle class family. Her father has a very strict nature as he always cares about his reputation and society.
Fathima is a bold and strong young girl. She never fails to express her true thoughts. Fathima is a chatterbox and famous by the nane of Chilambachi.
One of the biggest passion of Fathima is Football. Her craze for football gets double when she gets a chance to become a commentator for a local football tournament. She gains a lot of praise and popularity by being a commentator.
After the football tournament, Fathima decides to become a football commentator. She even charts out the plan for being a successful football commentator.
But she face many obstacles on the path of being a commentator. She gets opposed by her family, society and the male dominating governing official of football association. With all courage and confidence, Fathima decides to overcome these obstacles in the path of her dreams.
