The story of the film revolves around Ranjith Kumar. He is an journalist. Ranjith is a single parent. He has left journalism for some personal issues and settled down in Kolkatta. He is working there as a housekeeper.
Ranjith gets tragic news of the dismissal of his best friend Chezhiyan by his father. Ranjith returns to Chennai. He rejoins the field of journalism under the apprenticeship of Madhumitha in a media house.
He gets to know that Chezhiyan was working on a case. He died while investigating the case. Ranjith finds it suspicious. He starts to investigate Chezhiyan’s death case. He finds a whole web of conspiracy behind the death of his best friend. He plans to find out the mastermind behind the conspiracy and take revenge for Chezhiyan’s death. Who is this mastermind?
