Ranveer Singh’s most recent film appearance was in Karan Johar’s Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The film, which also starred Alia Bhatt, was a huge blockbuster at the box office.
Ranveer Singh, who is expecting his first kid with actress Deepika Padukone shortly, has begun training for his upcoming project and will be changing physically in order to make it happen. It has been disclosed that he will gain weight in preparation for his upcoming on-screen appearance.
As his followers eagerly await official word on Ranveer’s upcoming project, writer Shobhaa De provided an update via her Instagram post. At an Alibaug cafe, Shobhaa De ran across Ranveer Singh and they had a supper together. The writer posted joyful photos of herself and the actor on Instagram to document the occasion.
In one photo, Shobhaa De and her companion are posing with Ranveer Singh, and all three of them are grinning. Ranveer is seen posing with a plate of french fries in one photo.
Shobhaa De wrote, “Unexpected encounter at our favourite cafe in Alibagh. Selfie King @ranveersingh enjoying much needed “me time” before he takes up daddy duties….and starts his next film. Oh….the fries were mine”.
“But he said he is focusing on carbs himself. He needs to be 15kg heavier for his latest project. Charming, natural and unfailingly polite as always. Glad to have him as a neighbour in Alibagh,” she added. However, it is not known what projects she is referring to.
The last film Ranveer Singh appeared in was Karan Johar’s Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The movie centres on the romantic journey of two people from very different backgrounds and cultures: Rocky (Ranveer) and Rani (Alia Bhatt). In the movie, Alia plays Rani, a journalist from a Bengali family, and Ranveer plays Rocky, a fitness enthusiast from a Punjabi family.
He will next be featured in the film Singham Again, starring Ajay Devgn, Arjun Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Jackie Shroff and Tiger Shroff. It is scheduled to be released this year around Diwali. Additionally, he has Don’s next installment in his kitty.
