Online viral videos depict Bollywood actors Aamir Khan and Ranveer Singh criticising Prime Minister Narendra Modi
According to a report by ANI, Bollywood star Ranveer Singh has taken legal action by filing an FIR against a deepfake video circulating on social media. In the video, he is falsely depicted expressing political opinions through artificial intelligence technology.
“Yes, we have filed the police complaint and FIR has been lodged against the handle that was promoting the AI-generated deepfake video of Ranveer Singh,” the actor’s spokesperson told the publication.
As per a report from Reuters, online viral videos depict Bollywood actors Aamir Khan and Ranveer Singh criticising Prime Minister Narendra Modi and expressing support for the opposition Congress party in the ongoing 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
