Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 40: ‘Stree 2’ earnings limited to millions, the film collected this much on the 40th day
Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer ‘Stree 2’ is making a splash at the box office. It is the highest grossing film of 2024 so far. It has left many blockbuster films in the dust in terms of earnings. Even after so many days of its release, it is still holding its ground in theaters. The film is in its sixth week. Made on a budget of just Rs 60 crore, this film of Maddock Supernatural Universe has created history by waving the flag of success. It has proved to be the highest grossing horror-comedy film in Hindi. Not only this, it is on its way to becoming India’s highest grossing Hindi film after defeating films like ‘Animal’, ‘Pathan’ and ‘Gadar 2’. The film is now struggling to join the club of Rs 600 crore.
Today, on Monday, the performance of the film was disappointing and its earnings were limited to lakhs. Stree 2 earned Rs 96 lakhs on the 40th day. Now, the total collection of the film has become Rs 578.61 crores. There has been no big release in recent times to compete with Stree 2. Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer The Buckingham Murders as well as Tumbbad have also been re-released. However, both the films have not affected the earnings of Stree 2.
