Rajasthan: woman smeared soot on poster of Tripti Dimri, know the whole matter
There was a controversy on Tuesday at the promotional event of Bollywood actress Tripti Dimri‘s upcoming film ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video‘. Tripti had come to Jaipur to promote her film, but due to her not attending the event, the women of ‘FICCI FLO Jaipur Chapter’ blackened her poster with a black marker and announced to boycott her films.
Tripti had to participate in a program organized by ‘FICCI FLO Jaipur Chapter’. She had to reach there by 1:30 pm. The women had started waiting for her from around 12 noon. When Tripti and her team did not reach the program, the angry women climbed on the stage and protested. Former chairperson of “FICCI FLO Jaipur Chapter” Alka Batra went on the stage and blackened Tripti‘s poster, which created a ruckus in the program.
Raghushree Poddar, Chairperson of FICCI FLO Jaipur Chapter, accused Tripti and her team of taking payment from FICCI FLO for the entire event and then misleading them and refusing to come at the last moment. Poddar also said that Tripti‘s team asked to bring Rajkummar Rao to the event in her place, which made the women of FICCI FLO feel insulted.
