Arijit Singh

Arijit Singh ( Bengali ; অরিজিৎ সিংং) [4] (born 25 April 1987) is an Indian singer and composer . [5] He was born in Murshidabad, West Bengal . She started her career in 2005 with a reality show Fame Gurukul . His name became famous when he sang the song Tum Hi Ho in the film Aashiqui 2 in 2013. For this reason he was selected as the Best Male Singer at the 6th Filmfare Awards . Apart from these, he also sang a similar song in Kill Dil which was named Sajde Se. At the 6th Filmfare Awards in January 2016, his song Suraj Dooba Hai , sung in the film Roy , was chosen as the best song. He has also been given the Filmfare Award in the year 2018 for the song Roke Na Roke Naina and received the Best Male Singer Award in 2019 for the song Roke Na Roke Naina in the film Raazi . Singh's music career started when his mentor Rajendra Prasad Hazari realized that Feeling that "Indian classical music was a dying tradition", he insisted that she leave her hometown and participate in the reality show Fame Gurukul (2005) at the age of 18. [6] [7] He entered the final of the program but was eliminated from the audience vote, finishing sixth. He is an excellent singer. [8]
