With his overwhelming victory in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections, Pawan Kalyan wrote history. The Janasena party has done well, winning or leading in every seat it ran in the 21 Assembly and 2 Lok Sabha constituencies. Election Commission statistics shows that Kalyan received 1,34,394 votes, while Geetha, his closest opponent, received 64,115.
Stars of Tollywood: Using their Twitter accounts, Ram Charan and Allu Arjun congratulated Pawan Kalyan on winning. “A proud day for our family!” is how Ram Charan titled his tweet.

To those who do not know, Pawan Kalyan is the uncle of the Telugu actors Sai Dharam Tej, Varun Tej, Ram Charan, and Allu Arjun. Chiranjeevi and Nagendra Babu‘s younger brother is him.
On September 2, 1971, in Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh, Konidela Venkata Rao and Anjana Devi gave birth to Konidela Kalyan Babu, the head of the Janasena Party. In the 1996 film Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi, he made his acting debut.
