Rajkumar Gupta on Ajay Devgan : ‘We are editing the film, and hopefully…’
“Raid 2,” the much-anticipated sequel to the 2018 hit “Raid,” starring Ajay Devgan, has been postponed to early 2024. Originally slated for a November 15 release, the film’s schedule has been adjusted to avoid clashing with Devgn‘s other major release, “Singham Again,” directed by Rohit Shetty.

Director Raj Kumar Gupta revealed that the film is currently in the editing phase. He praised Ajay Devgan‘s professionalism, noting how the actor managed to juggle both “Raid 2” and “Singham Again” simultaneously, without any confusion between the characters he portrays in these distinct films.

The delay also gives the filmmakers more time to fine-tune the final product, ensuring it meets audience expectations. Fans of the original can now look forward to seeing the sequel in the first quarter of 2024.
