Neelam Kothari did very decent roles in the initial days of her career. But at the age of 53, she gave the first kissing scene of her acting career. She was very nervous before doing this scene. But when she came to know with whom she was going to do the kissing scene, Neelam’s nervousness went away. She shot the kissing scene very easily.
Neelam Kothari was last seen on the silver screen in the year 2001. After this, she took a break from films. But in the year 2020, she returned to acting again. First of all, she appeared in Netflix’s reality television series ‘Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives (2020)’. After this, she did a web series named ‘Made in Heaven-2’ in 2023. This series proved to be very special in her acting career. Working in it was no less than a challenge for Neelam.
Got the challenge of kissing scene
When Neelam Kothari was offered a role in ‘Made in Heaven-2’, she was very happy. But when she came to know that she has to do a kissing scene in this series, she got a little nervous. Actually, till now she had not done any kissing scene in her acting career. This was the first time when she had to kiss a co-actor on screen.
First onscreen kiss with husband
Neelam was already worried about the kissing scene. But when the director told her that she has to do this kissing scene with her husband Sameer Soni, all of Neelam‘s worries went away. Now she was happy that she would do her first onscreen kissing scene with her husband.
The scene was completed in two takes
Neelam Kothari gave the kissing scene in just two takes. Later, when Neelam saw her kissing scene and acting in ‘Made in Heaven-2’, she was very happy. Neelam wants to do different types of challenging roles in the future as well.
