While on a trip to Reno, Wanda (Mary Anderson) decides to pretend she’s a divorced woman, which immediately puts her in good company. Meanwhile, Reverend Jerry Ferguson (Alfred Vosburgh) becomes so popular with the local cowboys that they present him with his very own Western gear. Thus attired, he heads out into the woods, where he saves Wanda, whose horse has run away with her. There are rumors of a highway man running around loose, and Wanda believes Ferguson to be him. Ferguson, meanwhile, thinks Wanda is a wicked divorcee. They each find the other’s false identity exciting and romant ic. But the way is paved for a real romance when the sheriff and Wanda’s brother show up and reveal the couple’s true personas.
