PC Carver’s drinking causes problems in a court case and an armed convoy., Jim takes the whisky in a tea cup a bit too far. Knowledge of his drinking is now widespread, and his colleagues are becoming increasingly frustrated., The relief have to cover for Jim Carver yet again when he arrives at the station still very drunk., Smithy and Diane attend an incident where Duncan Wilde is threatening a burger van owner with a knife. After apprehending him, Smithy finds a bag of skunk in his possession and takes him back to the station. Diane finds herself in a terrifying situation when an enraged skunk grower, armed with a baseball bat, locks the two of them in a room together. Beth and Tony arrive at a disturbance to find a distraught man outside the house of his ex – who’s getting married that afternoon.
