In this drama, boxer Johnny Malone tries to ready himself for the upcoming championship. He is distracted by beautiful socialite Judy Gelett with whom he falls in love. This naturally upsets Briscoe, his trainer, as his charge has become so smitten that he has completely forgotten about fighting. Later she dumps him and he is sacked in the ring. His manager is so disgusted that he even leaves the defeated warrior.
