Robotech The Messenger

An envoy is dispatched by the Zentraedi to examine a peace plan on the heels of a shaky truce., Breetai’s flagship approaches the SDF-1, requesting a ceasefire. Veritech fighters escort a Zentraedi battle pod back to the ship, carrying a Zentraedi soldier and a micronized Exedore, acting as an emissary. Exedore meets with Captain Gloval and the chiefs of staff, and after learning that much of their conjecture of human weapons and superpowers is mistaken, he explains that Supreme Commander Dolza, mindful of past encounters with open societies, is most likely preparing to destroy Earth, the SDF-1, and any Zentraedi who have had any contact with humans. His worst fears are confirmed when he is contacted by Breetai with the news that Dolza is in fact on his way with a fleet of almost five million ships, intent on obliterating them all. On Earth, Lisa learns that the world government intends to use SDF-1 as a decoy to draw fire away from the Earth and her father refuses to help her friends.
