Nothing Special

In Angela Garcia Combs’ comedy Nothing Special, a young and successful insurance underwriter must allow her mentally unstable mother to move in with her after the institution in which the mother had been living is deemed unfit for occupancy. The mother begins to dislike how close her daughter is with her boss., An upwardly mobile insurance broker named Louise is tested when her bipolar mother is evicted and forced to move in with her. To further complicate things, Louise has already developed a surrogate mother-daughter relationship with her boss.
