North Mountain

An overlooked Orthodox housewife (Shani Klein) finds a respite from the pain of being ignored by her remote husband (Avshalom Pollak) by wandering a cemetery near Jerusalem’s Mount of Olives at night. A chance encounter with a drunken prostitute working the grounds opens her up to unlikely friendships with not only the pimps and prostitutes running the covert trade, but with the Palestinian groundskeeper (Haitham Ibrahem Omari).
