Lisbon Story

Wim Wenders wrote and directed this philosophical travelogue about a sound engineer (Rudiger Vogler) wandering Lisbon in search of his missing director friend (Patrick Bauchau). Van Driver: Vasco Sequeira. Barber: Canto E. Castro., This beautifully-photographed German drama is set in Lisbon and offers insight into the nature of cinema. Sound recordist Phillip Winter drives to Lisbon to help with a documentary, but when he arrives, his friend is nowhere to be found. Instead, Winter ambles around the city recording sounds for the film.
