Have You Seen Andy?

In August 1976, in Lawrence, MA, ten-year-old Andy Puglisi inexplicably vanished from a public swimming pool — presumably the victim of an abduction by a nearby predator. That incident forever ended Andy’s innocence and probably his life as well, but it far from ended Melanie’s friendship with him or her memories of him. 22 years later, in 1998, Melanie makes a sad journey back to her hometown and the site of the disappearance, and begins to search for answers, unveiling — in the process — astonishing oversights within the original police investigation. Over the course of the motion picture, Perkins films and interpolates new interviews with Andy’s loved ones and the authorities in charge of the search for Andy — creating not only a reflective ode to a lost friendship but a testament to the need for closure on a still-unsolved case.
