Alongside Night

As financial institutions are unable to combat enormous inflation and unemployment, a strict new regime takes power, and quickly begins incarcerating those they oppose. In the midst of this upheaval, a teenage boy attempts to find his missing Nobel-Prize-winning father with the help of his best friend, and a mysterious girl with a gun. The director, J. Neil Schulman, wrote the book on which this movie is based.
