Famous director S.S. Rajamouli’s superhit film Eega is once again in the headlines. Because this matter is related to copyright infringement, recently released Malayalam 3D film Lovely has copied the film Eega, due to which the producers of Eega have sent a legal notice to Lovely and alleged that the main character of Lovely and its story is very similar to the housefly avatar of Eega film.
Rajamouli’s film Eega was released in 2012, the story of the film was shown on the reincarnation of a mosquito, the film was highly appreciated. It is being claimed on the film Lovely that the film has copied the story, characters and original ideas of Eega.
But Lovely’s director Dileesh Karunakaran has rejected this statement and he has clearly said that the story of this film is completely different and no copyright has been done, despite this, the producers of Eega are preparing for legal action.
