Rama became a chauvinist after being influenced by his father. He falls in love with Shivani. Their relationship broke down because of the toxic nature of Rama.
After the death of Rama’s mother, he decides to change his nature and gets married to Muthulakshmi according to his late mother’s wish.
Muthulakshmi is an alcoholic girl. And Rama had a hard time dealing with her. This reminds him of his past mistakes.
He decides to accept Muthulakshmi despite her difficulties and tries to help her get out of her severe habit of alcoholism.
The story takes a turn when Muthulakshmi hits Rama with a glass bottle on his head.
