The movie is about a love story that takes place between a grim reaper and a doctor with a special ability.
Kokdu, a mortal man in ancient Korea, has been transformed into an immortal reaper who once incurred the wrath of God. He visits the mortal world every 99 years to punish humanity for their weaknesses.
He was turned into a grim reaper as punishment for his action. As a grim reaper, he is cold and cruel. His job is to lead dead spirits to the afterworld. He kills scummy people who deserve to die. This time, he comes to this world and possesses Do Jin Woo’s body. He then gets involved with Han Gye Jeol.
Han Gye-Jeol works as a visiting physician. She had graduated from the lowest-ranked medical school. She is often intimidated by people who look down on her credentials. She lost parents at a very young age. She has only her younger brother in her family. When Do Jin Woo appears in front of her, he is the first one in her life who takes her side. Her daily life is changed because of him.
Actors Kim Jung Hyun, Im Soo Hyang, Kim Da Som, Ahn Woo Yeon, Kim In Kwon, and Cha Chung Hwa are playing key roles, with various other actors playing supporting roles in the series.
The series is co-directed by Baek Soo chan and Kim Ji hoon. And the story of the series is co-written by Kang Yi heon and Heo Jun woo.
