Karan Singh Grover recently opened up about the harrowing experience he and Bipasha Basu faced when their daughter, Devi, had to undergo open-heart surgery shortly after her birth. Devi was born with two holes in her heart, a condition that was discovered just three days after her birth.
The couple was devastated but stood strong together. At just three months old, Devi underwent the surgery, leaving her with a scar running from her chest to her stomach.
Karan described Devi as a “fighter,” noting how she bravely endured the procedure and its aftermath. Both parents have expressed immense respect for all those who have faced similar challenges, acknowledging the unique strength required to navigate such difficult circumstances.
Now 14 months old, Devi continues to recover, with her parents standing by her side every step of the way.
