‘Bhindranwale was not a saint, he was a terrorist’
The movie has been postponed, so now fans are waiting for its new release date. Kangana has definitely made it clear that the movie will release, but it is not known when. Kangana recently vented her anger on this matter. The actress said that some people had objections to her movie. She questioned those who defended Bhindranwale and said that he was not a saint but a terrorist.
Kangana Ranaut once again spoke candidly in News18’s Chaupal program. The actress said, “This has been our history, which has been deliberately hidden. We were not told about it. This is not the era of good people. My film is ready for release. Four historians have seen the film. It has got a certificate from the censor board. There is nothing wrong with my film, but there are some people who call Bhindranwale a saint and a leader. They threatened through arguments. I also received threats.”
Kangana said, “Previous governments called Khalistanis terrorists. He (Bhindranwale) was not a saint who was sitting in a temple with an AK47. I don’t think 99 percent of the people of Punjab consider Bhindranwale a saint. He is a terrorist. If that is so, then my film should be released.” Kangana further said that she has also suffered financial loss due to the postponement of her film.
