Shahrukh Khan at number one
Bollywood’s Badshah Shahrukh Khan is at number one in the list of highest tax paying stars. In the financial year 2023-24, Shahrukh has also left behind stars like actors Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan by paying Rs 92 crore.
Vijay made it to the second spot
The second name on this list is Tamil star Thalapathy Vijay. He paid Rs 80 crore as tax in the financial year 2023-24. At number three is Salman Khan, who paid Rs 75 crore and at number four is Amitabh Bachchan, who paid Rs 71 crore. At number five on the list is cricket icon Virat Kohli, who paid Rs 66 crore as tax.

Other stars who have made a significant impact on the tax payment list include Ajay Devgan, Ranbir Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Shahid Kapoor and Pankaj Tripathi. Bollywood actresses have also been ahead in tax payment. Among actresses, Kareena Kapoor Khan is number one, who has paid Rs 20 crore. Katrina Kaif is the second highest tax paying actress. She has contributed Rs 11 crore in the financial year 2023-24.
