Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Review:
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Movie Review Director Anees Bazmee and actor Kartik Aaryan‘s horror comedy film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has hit the theatres. Fans were waiting for its release for the last 2 years. Now whether their wait has proved fruitful or not. You can guess it by reading the full movie review of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
In terms of collection of horror comedy film, Stree 2 has created history by earning more than six hundred crores. In such a situation, to stand in front of it, the films of this genre needed to gear up. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 proved to be a mistake in this matter. In the year 2007, when Priyadarshan gave the genre of horror comedy to the audience through Bhool Bhulaiyaa, even he did not know that in future it would not be easy to make films in this league. It takes hard work to make cult films, but not to spoil them.
How is the story of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3?
Rooh Baba and two Manjulikas together could not compete with Stree 2. Rooh Baba aka Roohan (Kartik Aryan) continues to pretend to catch ghosts. Meera (Tripti Dimri) who belongs to the royal family and her maternal uncle (Rajesh Kumar) ask Roohan to come with them to Rakt Ghat, for which they will give him one crore rupees. Manjulika’s ghost is imprisoned in a room of the Rakt Ghat mansion.
200 years ago when he was imprisoned, it was prophesied that someone from the same royal family will be reborn and will open the door and kill him on the day of Durgashtami. Rooh Baba’s face resembles the prince of that time Devendra Nath. Rajpurohit (Manish Wadhwa) believes that the prince has been reborn. Well, after Manjulika aka Mallika (Vidya Balan), Anjolika aka Mandira (Madhuri Dixit) also enters the story. Then the twist that comes in the climax of the story will make your head spin.
After watching the climax, when you go back and try to connect things as to how and why Manjulika was doing what she was doing, then you will not get answers to every question, like when the soul imprisoned behind the secret door did not come out, then how was Mallika’s aim so accurate or in the end when Manjulika aka Mallika has Rooh Baba’s neck in her hands and when she makes a circle with the divine oil and sets it on fire, then how does his soul enter inside Anjolika aka Mandira who was outside.
Akash Kaushik, who wrote the story, screenplay and dialogues of the film, tried well, but at many places the scenes and comedy without logic spoiled the fun. There is no chance of any other joke in the film apart from the number of jokes shown in the trailer. Keeping the genre in mind, great efforts were made to make people laugh and get scared, but all the efforts proved futile.
