GV Prakash Kumar and Saindhavi slightly more than a month before their eleventh wedding anniversary announced their separation. They have requested that others honour their privacy.
GV Prakash Kumar, an actor and music composer, and his spouse, vocalist Saindhavi, have declared their divorce. They sent a similar message on their individual Instagram accounts. They had an 11-year marriage.
The announcement was made by Prakash and Saindhavi slightly over a month before their eleventh wedding anniversary. In his note, he wrote, “After much thought, Saindhavi and I have decided to part ways after 11 years of marriage, for the sake of our mutual respect and mental peace and betterment.”
“We respectfully request that the media, friends, and fans be considerate of our privacy as we go through this extremely intimate transition,” he continued. “We both see that we are becoming more and farther distant, but we think that this is the right choice for us. It means a lot to have your understanding and support during this trying time. I’m grateful.”
GV Prakash is creating music for a huge slate of Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi films, including Suriya‘s untitled project, Kangana Ranaut‘s Emergency, Akshay Kumar‘s Sarfira, Nithiin‘s Robin Hood, and Vikram’s Thangalaan. He’s starring in Dear, Kalvan, 13, and Idimuzhakkam.
