Wild About – Snakes

Snakes evolved over one million years ago with twenty different families and 3, 400 species. Snakes are carnivores eating anything from rats and mice to animals as large as buffalo and sheep. Their skin is dry and smooth and their eyesight varies. They use different forms of locomotion to move. From pythons to vipers to boa constrictors, snakes have been worshiped and vilified throughout time.
