Welcome to Warbirds and Classics Over the Midwest 2007. For three days in August hundreds of giant scale warbirds, pre-1960 aircraft and military jets buzzed the runway of Wellnitz Field in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Spot Productions was there each day, and beyond, to chronicle the premier of this much-anticipated R/C aircraft event. Join us as we take a broad look at the event itself and then take a closer look at fifteen models that represent the best-of-the-best. We not only show you these amazing birds in detail and in flight, we also talk to the guys who love to build and fly them. They’ll share their expertise about the construction and flight characteristics of each particular model as well as some of the history behind the real plane it represents.
