Sivakumar, a resident of Tiruvarur lands himself a job as a sub-editor in a TV station in Bangalore. Circumstances land him face-to-face with a powerful politician, who is considered as the main instigator of riots in the Kavery water river-sharing dispute between Tamilnadu and Kerala. Fueled by patriotism and love of his people, Sivakumar takes him head-on.
