Tolen has got his eyes on the Karkins ranch because his men have found gold there. So they kill Harkins, but soon Dorothy and Dick discover that the gold in fact washes down to the Harkins ranch from Tolen’s ranch. So they devise a cunning plan and when Harkins brother arrives he offers to swap ranches with Tolen.
