In this lecture (delivered in 2001) Dr. Neidinger traces the evolution of our attitudes towards wealth and poverty from classical times, through a Judeo-Christian filter, into the mix of mercantilism, capitalism and socialism, and finally to the bombast of modern American rhetoric of class warfare.
