8 8 Segment 2 Dr. Don L. Davis explores the steps we use to bring new converts into a local assembly of believers, on the road to spiritual maturity and fruitfulness. New believers must be baptized and oriented as new members of the local church as soon as possible. They must be instructed in the Christian basics, taught the importance of pastoral care, and equipped to function as members of the body of Christ.
