9 1 Segment 1 Augustine said, “In the OT the NT lies hidden; in the NT the OT stands revealed.” Dr. Davis examines the relationship of the OT to the NT through the idea of progressive revelation. We will look at the complementary connections which exist in the OT and NT and consider the unique motif of promise and fulfillment, and how this integrates the teaching of Scripture on the person of Jesus Christ.
