2 3 Segment 1 In this segment Dr. Davis explains that the reign of God has been inaugurated in this present world. First, God became a warrior against those who oppose his reign. Through God’s covenant promise to Abraham and the history of his dealings and workings with his covenant people Israel, God has worked to bring forth the Messiah, the Seed who would inaugurate his reign in this cursed and fallen world.
