6 4 Segment 2 This segment teaches that God expresses his sovereign providence through his preservation and governance of all things. Saying that God preserves all things suggests that all things exist and hold together by virtue of God’s sovereign care and provision. A biblical understanding of God’s providence resolves many errors in philosophy and theology, namely, pantheism, deism, fatalism, and chance.
