At the entrance to Manila Bay in the Philippine islands and bordering the South China seas lies a small island in the shape of a tadpole known as Corregidor.The significance of Corregidor Island held by the Americans,set in motion a battle that began on the 8 of December 1941, shortly after the bombing of Pearl Harbour.
