Recital Grigory Sokolov: Beethoven, Komitas, Prokofiev

With Sokolov, we discover a unique, powerful and highly characteristic world of sound. The master allowed Bruno Monsaingeon to film him one evening in November 2002, at the Thtre des Champs Elyses in Paris. In minimalist lighting which amplifies the mystery surrounding him, Sokolov gives a recital of works by Beethoven, Komitas and Prokofiev, with many encores.
