It is estimated that nearly one in three workers in the U.S. are over the age of 50. For this reason, the owner of Vita Needle Company outside Boston has decided to only employ pensioners. The employee’s average age is 74, yet sick days are minimal, efficiency has excelled and turnover has doubled in the last five years.
