Makers of Magic: The Faces of Carolina Puppetry

A documentary that introduces some of the talented puppeteers who live in the Carolinas. Clyde Hollifield, Cindy Ball, Pamella O’Connor, Lyon Forrest Hill, Susan VandeWeghe, Lisa Sturz and Hobey Ford share their backgrounds, experiences and views on practicing the ancient and “magical” art of puppetry. Traces use of puppets from simple Appalachian toys to giant street puppets.
